Kate Beever, MA, MT-BC

​

Kate is a Board Certified Music Therapist with a private practice in Portland, Maine called Maine Music & Health, LLC. She primarily works with clients of all ages with cancer, cerebral palsy, brain injury, depression, developmental disabilities, dementia, and respiratory diseases. Kate presents clinical workshops locally and nationally and facilitates healing retreats, group and individual sessions while keeping an active performing schedule as a pianist and percussionist. She is also a trained REMO HealthRhythms facilitator and has her certification in Neurologic Music Therapy. Kate serves as vice president of the USM Alumni Board and served on the Maine Arts Commission. She is the founder of the Creative Health Expressive Arts Therapies Conference in Southern Maine.

Bodhi Simpson, LCPC, ATR 

​

Bodhi is a Registered Art Therapist with a private practice in Waterville, Maine called Conscious Art Therapy. She is co-founder of Vast Horizons in Brunswick, Maine and also of Wisdom Journeys, LLC. She is a co-creator of The Self-Compassion Symposium held annually in Freeport, Maine. Bodhi provides individual and group sessions, she also presents clinical trainings and creative workshops and retreats locally and internationally. Additionally, Bodhi is a teaching artist at the Colby College Museum of Art, a workshop presenter for the Healthy Living Program at Maine General Medical Center, an adjunct instructor at Husson University, and a past president of the Maine Mental Health Counselors Association. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Wisdom Studies from Wisdom University.
